What started as an 11-year-old asking his grandfather, "Papa Joe," for a summer job quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Before setting foot on his first jobsite in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Michael Taylor’s grandfather took him to buy his very first pair of work boots and safety gear. That day marked the beginning of more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the residential construction industry.

Michael has quite literally learned the trade from the ground up. His extensive field-level expertise spans every single phase of construction, including:

  • Site Preparation: Land clearing, excavation, foundations, and utility installation.

  • Structural Integrity: Heavy-duty framing, drywall, and plastering.

  • Master Finish Work: Custom carpentry, luxury flooring, cabinetry, and full custom home builds.

Before bringing his family and his trade south to establish Taylor Custom Home Designs, Michael owned and operated a highly successful construction company in Massachusetts for nearly a decade. Today, at 42 years old, he infuses every project with that same deep-rooted New England work ethic and multi-generational knowledge.
